Ahmed Soliman’s background informs his approach to his artwork. As a Cairene who currently lives in New York, Ahmed consistently embeds an element of multiculturalism in many of his projects. He often takes inspiration from his surroundings, and describes his work as having ‘purpose rather than passion’. His aim is to create artwork that, while beautiful, is problem-solving and functional; its purpose is to help someone else.
He got his start in illustration and animation, however, more recently, he likes to involve himself in the different steps that make up the process of creating or designing an art project, from brand development to animation/film production and post production demonstrating his versatility.
